Why should you support our work financially?

Although our foundation's work is oriented towards social media, it still needs some financial income. These needs differ according to each platform and the work within its scope. You will find these details in the rest of the article.

It follows the agenda of Turkey, the Netherlands and the world every day. Once a month, hashtag work is regularly done on victimizations. In order to announce these activities to a wider audience, advertising costs are incurred for corporate accounts.

Lotus vd Media

This platform, which aims to publicize human rights violations in visual media, works on short films, theater and screenplays. So far, with limited means, it has produced a short film called Empathy and a theater play called The Road. All these works have expenses such as camera, lighting, actor costs, travel and food costs. As you can appreciate, each project needs a separate sponsor and great financial support. If Lotus vd Media can find enough financial and moral support from you, it will be able to realize very big productions in the future. The team consists of a very young group and is promising. Art stop / Kunsthalte

The Kunsthalte platform for the visual arts has so far opened art exhibitions in 5 different locations. All these projects require serious costs. So far, the exhibitions have been possible largely with individual support and contributions from municipalities. Each exhibition incurs costs such as transportation, cavalry, catering, etc. Although we aim to bring the works created through the exhibitions to a much larger audience on social media, as you know, art cannot have a single purpose. According to some artists and thinkers, art cannot be done for a purpose. For this reason, art not only publicizes human rights violations, but also provides opportunities to meet new people who are sensitive and conscientious. In order for all this to happen, first and foremost, art always needs material and moral support, attention, interest and ultimately ownership.

Wees Music

Wees Music aims to tell the story of human rights violations using the universal language of music. Working in the form of music groups formed in the Netherlands, Wees Music needs your support to develop and get better. Even if the participant has the desire and enthusiasm to join the group, their financial means do not always allow them to do so. Therefore, travel expenses are a major cost. Music, on the other hand, is an artistic activity that can make rapid progress in publicizing grievances. In social media, much wider audiences can be reached through the language of music. Of course, financial support will be needed at every step. For example, musical instruments, sound systems and cameras are still a great need for such activities. There is also the need for space for rehearsals to take place wherever possible.

Wees Akademi

The Foundation aims to support its platforms with training, interviews and software. So far, the Academy has provided trainings on digital drawing, screenwriting, presentation techniques, and organized talks. Your financial support to the Academy will enable it to provide training to people who do not have the means and need to learn. Supporting the trainers will help the Academy become more professional.

Software

In order to make our hashtag work easier and our hashtags more effective, we have developed the "Post Maker" application, which we can call "Hashtag Helper" in Turkish. The application has been developed with volunteer designers and software developers for more than two years. Even as it is, the website costs alone amount to 60 euros per month. Anyone who wants to spread the word about victimization to a wider audience can support this project with sponsorship, donations or direct information, or at least with comments and criticism. Even a bug you find on the website is a contribution to making the app better. Ultimately, the biggest need is financial support. Although we all have some software traumas in our minds at the beginning, our code is open, no source and data is kept, so you can easily examine or have it examined.

As a result, each project needs financial and moral support in its own category. To summarize, rent, accounting, advertising, website, camera, microphone, décor etc. depending on the project, instruments and equipment, travel expenses are the main items that the foundation needs.
